I just saw I Am Number Four the other day with some friends, and I have to admit, it was awesome. A boy is faced with a semi-typical mission, save his planet, but it takes a totally different direction after that. The movie has everything: action, mystery, weapons, friendships, romance, and more. It’s tough to talk about anything from this movie without giving away some details, so all I can really say is that it’s a MUST see. Anybody looking for a date movie, this would be a pretty good choice. The only possible negative that I can say about the movie is that the story is so intricate, that by the time the movie was over, I had so many questions to ask, but no answers. Thankfully it appears that it is left open for a sequel (I believe the books are supposed to be a 6 book series), so maybe some of these questions will be answered in the future. It’s one of the few movies we all sat through and didn’t say a word during because we were so into it. The first words came out when the credits began rolling, and they were, “That was awesome.” Go ahead and give this film a shot, I think you will be pleased with what you watch.

Today’s Gaming Video of the Day is the trailer for Modern Warfare 3. It’s full of action, but possibly too much. Call of Duty is known for overdone campaigns with dull stories, but they’re always full of plenty of explosions, WHICH IS WHAT WE LIKE, RIGHT? Wrong. For once it would be nice to see someone actually spend some time on a Call of Duty campaign with a compelling story that people would actually want to follow and be a part of. Instead you get the same run of the mill story with predictable endings but plenty of BOOM! which is apparently all gamers care about. Who knew? But most people aren’t concerned about the campaign, the majority of Call of Duty players are in it for the multiplayer. Rest assured, I can almost guarantee you that this game will be loaded with the same mind numbingly dull multiplayer that the previous titles have had. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Dead Island is an upcoming open world horror action adventure video game in development by Techland for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. It is centered on the challenge of survival on a zombie-infested island with a major emphasis on melee combat. Dead Island places the player on the tropical paradise of Banoi. You play as a guest of the island, attempting to have a luxurious vacation on the island, but that all changes quickly when an unexpected zombie epidemic occurs — forcing your stay to change from relaxing on the beach to surviving wherever you deem plausible.
